well... Its been a really long time since anyone has ever been here... so well post what you can if you ever stumble across this page ever again. Currently I am a Freshman at Loyola U Chicago, SuperXJesus and i have been keeping in contact and I think that maybe we will be doing some recording over the comming breaks...Good luck to all of you out there and I hope that I see some if not all of you sometime in the future!

I miss this place! I remember that thread that was all about posting numbers... haha that's how I got most of my posts on here
I'm still here in STL, and currently attending Hickey College for Graphic Design. Yep, I am going to fulfill my life-long dream of becoming a starving artist (fer reals!) haha
But seriously, no one ever gets on here... I check it every once and a while, but no one posts!

Hey, everybody! Though Bill already said some stuff about me, I figured I'd post as well. I'm at Loyola New Orleans right now, English Lit major. The thing is there are only about 7 Lit, and everyone else is a Writing major because everybody thinks they can be a writer.
... And I'm planning on being a writer. haha!
But no, I'm planning on teaching english, I'm just gonna be writing while I do that. Oh yeah, that and eventually Bill and I are going to open a studio in Chicago, and hopefully we'll turn a profit off that. Hopefully something halfway decent too, because I don't know if Bill plans on doing much more than recording people, whilst I'll be more like a weekend warrior with that stuff.

so we're feeling pretty cool... And yeah, we're writing music again. But we hate eachother less now, so it has slightly more potential to pan out than it did before.
besides that... I just want to say that Louis XIV rocks, and everybody should buy their new album because it's way better than their last one. A lot less innuendo as well, much more of that awesome rock that they do so well.

College is easy. It's very hard to take it seriously. I'm like crash and burn all over the place right now. Good thing I didn't go PreMed. I would be fucked. I would like run away and never come back to civilization. Which is what I want to do, anyway. Eventually. I don't know. There's something about living in New Orleans that I just don't like. There's a lot I miss about STL. And thatreasoning is the same kind--I just like it more. There's good food down here. We have MardiGras and you can basically be perpetually drunk for four days straight. It's pretty amazing. There are nice people. But there are nice people everywhere, so what? What does that really mean?
My fucking roomate is a WASPafarian that sits around all day YouTubing comspiracy documentaries, smoking pot, and working on his MIDI masterpiece that he will never finish. Goddamn I can't wait for this semester to be over!!!!
Do I want to go to college in STL though? No. I'm pretty sure I don't. I'd rather just skip college. Would that be golden ticket? Probably not. Probably not. Nope. The reality of it is I don't want to face my studies right now. I've gotten so lazy. It's terrible. I bet you all are so lazy right now. Yeah. Someone should come along and shoot all of us for being such fucking wastes. I really hate it. I really hate it and I'm surrounded by it and I'm in it.
It's just gray. Everything is gray. Whatever. Fuck. My grades are going to plummet.
More spur-a-the-moment rants por favor. That can be a good thing to post here. It's a way of updating those that wander in from time to time, it also keeps them (conforums) from erasing this forum: a grand testament to how little we've actually grown up.

People, we should come back to this site. I was just wondering if anyone was posting here again. Sadly that's a no. Oh well.
I wonder, are any of you any closer to realizing dreams or actually doing something with your life? Or are you like me, wasting another summer in St. Louis, wishing you still knew people in St. Louis, or wishing you could be back at college where you know people, but where you don't really do anything with your life.
I was just thinking about all the crazy rants we used to have on this site. When Charlie used to vehemently defend Coldplay--I wonder if he even still listens to them--, and how I tried so very hard to prove to anyone that would listen how Speed of Sound was a rewrite of Clocks.
And what ever happened to Justin's older brother?
I remember once Chris and I corresponded only in the form of shitty poetry. That didn't last very long.

What happened to the Shinta forums? I can't find those anymore! I keep looking for them, but either they were erased or I just can't remember the address.

For anyone interested in knowing this: Chris and Bill both went to normal school to pursue big-money jobs at Loyola Chicago and Illinois Institute of Technology and ended up transferring after a year to art schools to study film. And I'm still in normal school wondering if I missed something...
I wonder how many people on this forum ended up at an arts school, or studying either music or art at a normal school.
And how many people--if the list is any longer than just me--are studying the humanities or are doing a liberal arts degree if they're in normal school. Mine is English Literature. What am I going to do with that? I don't know.
Well the economy didn't suck when we were in high school...
I wonder how many people left Missouri to go to college.
I'm thinking right now that I still don't know who Hutch is (was). Maybe I just don't remember.

So I was thinking about this site last night before bed and wanted to see if it still existed. Turns out it does... kind of.
I'm Marc Missey, since you probably don't remember.(I didn't even remember my emo/trying-to-sound-deep username)
I go to SIU Edwardsville now. I'm a junior. Computer Science major... umm idk what else. I'm sure this won't be read by anyone else for another 3 months.
