ok, this idea came to me at like 3am the other morning, so apologies if it's bad.
"archiving" on these forums means locking a thread and it just sort of sits there.
well mehbeh we could have a board entitled "archive" and put all the old threads in there that we dont want to delete, but are pretty dead anyways. this way the boards would be more cleaned out....
ok. the end.

So basically we are going to be archiving every thread except for the 1,000,000 thread and a select few others? Sounds good to me.

I think that we should always leave that threads open...it would be stupid if when ever we wanted to talk about an "archived" thread we would have to make a whole new one....I say leave it the way it is.

this thread needs to be archived. 
bill, please actually READ before you post. i wasn't implying locking the threads. just moving them all to one big board full of THREAD TRASH. but still leaving them open.
